After graduating from college with a Bachelor's of Science degree, I worked as a veterinary assistant. When I decided to go back to school and needed more flexibility, I worked as a professional dog walker and pet sitter. I then worked as a paralegal for a few years, but found my real passion was working with animals. I began fostering cats through a local shelter here in Richmond and eventually decided I wanted to work with pets full time again and thus was born Crate Escape Pet Care.
I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own. I have a tri pawd that I cared for as a part of my job and eventually adopted through a shelter in Northern Virginia after she was hit by a car and her leg could not be saved. I have a senior dog and two senior cats, and I have a cat with vision problems. This assures that I am comfortable with special needs pets and that I can understand their body language.
I truly love caring for animals. I will care for your animals just as you would, with all the love and attention you would give them!
