At Boheme Dog, we focus on creating a relaxed, responsive, stress-free and happy dog using positive reinforcement training. Your Trainer, Sophia, will meet you and your dog(s) in their home environment to get a clearer picture of your situation. In setting expectations for training, we will cover how to build communication skills between you and your dog.
You will learn what are essential skills for dogs to learn, what additional skills are ideal for your dog, and have the opportunity to start practicing some skills as time allows. You can then schedule follow-up accountability sessions with your trainer to guide you through skill and behaviour training to meet your goals (recommended). Intermediate students have the opportunity to have "field trip" sessions to learn and practice skills around town.
All sessions include life-management strategies, including socialisation, nutrition, and other holistic methods of creating balance. Most behaviour problems, if not diagnosed by a veterinarian as biological in nature, are easily resolved if approached holistically.
