Hi my name is Kirk Pingatore and I currently own and operate Barks By The Bay.
Never would I have ever thought growing up that I would one day have my own business let alone one that involves walking dogs and boarding pets, but how thankful I am to be here.
I grew up in Novato, CA in the northern area of Marin County.
Growing up my parents bred American Kennel Club registered yellow labs which meant we constantly had puppies and dogs running around the house.
That is probably where my comfort around dogs began.
Never would I have ever thought growing up that I would one day have my own business let alone one that involves walking dogs and boarding pets, but how thankful I am to be here.

At Barks By The Bay, we have the best days.
We also do our walks a bit different than others.
While other walkers will take your dogs out for 1 hour, we get them out of the house for an average of 4 hours a day.
When you're at work from 9am - 5pm your pup has a day of their own.
We are one of the very few that are able to get them out of the house for that long while still keeping prices low.
A typical day for your pup would include a morning pickup from your house sometime between 10am-noon (depending on your location will determine exact pickup and drop off times) During those times we pick up your pup and a few of their new friends and drive them across the Golden Gate Bridge into beautiful Marin County to our own private dog park.
