Play Dog Play is a unique outdoor/indoor dog boarding & doggie daycare facility where dogs get lots of exercise, fresh air & social time with a large array of happy, healthy dogs. Play Dog Play is a fun, energetic environment where your dog will be treated as one of the family by our loving & highly trained staff 24 hours a day.

We founded Petaluma Dog Walkers and Play Dog Play in 2002.
We decided we wanted to share our enthusiasm for a fun outdoorsy lifestyle and our love of dogs with the entire Petaluma & Bay Area community.
We are experts at working with all breeds of dogs, individually and in groups.
We have worked with many rescue dogs who were initially shy and timid and are now happy well socialized members of the Play Dog Play family.
We believe that dogs are happiest when they are out in the fresh air, getting the exercise they need and the personal attention they deserve.

Drop off after our last playgroup between 2:00 - 3:30 PM (Wednesday drop off 1:00 - 3:00 PM).
Late pick up after 6:30 PM $10 charge.
Gate closes and dogs kept overnight after 6:45 PM.
Late pick up after 3 PM on the weekend $10 charge.
Gate closes and dogs kept overnight after 3:30 PM.
Your dog gets to spend the night with us in our room and snuggle in bed (limited availability.)

Staffed by certified, well-trained experts, Dog Walker Ranch is a fenced, private, 28,000-square-foot play Ranch, that enables dogs to play and socialize, in a safe controlled environment, on 10,000 square feet of synthetic turf designed expressly for dogs.
In addition to many canine toys and fun play structures, the Ranch features a 16,000-gallon, 33'x16'x4' above-ground pool with a platform built six inches under water level and a ramp that allows dogs to walk comfortably into the water.
Our dogs sleep inside at night in a temperature controlled room, in their very own custom built dog den.

I've been using PDP for about 5 years now and love them!
My husband and I work full time and have a lot of extra-curricular activities in the evening so our 5 year-old beagle, Louie, is left home alone a lot of the time.
He gets out on doggie day adventures twice a week and gets to have some fun.
It has also helped with his social skills.
He has a new best friend, and seems to have found a new fondness of going down the slides at playground structures on his own.
I really enjoy the notes that John or Molly leave telling about the adventures of the day.

John and Molly have also made presentations on dog care and dog safety to schools in town.
They won the Golden Chicken for their dog float in the Butter and Eggs Day Parade.
