Kitty Keepers was started by cat rescuer and advocate Christine Grenat.
The Grenat family has been fostering cats and dogs since 2010 for rescue organizations in Louisiana and have successfully facilitated the adoptions of approximately 100 cats and 20 dogs.
Christine was the Foster Program Director for Project Purr and served on the Board of Companion Animal Rescue of Ascension and SPCA of Livingston.
She helped form the Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender (P.A.S.S.) program that is used by the East Baton Rouge Parish Animal Shelter's Companion Animal Alliance.
