Services
Diggity Doggy is a family business and it is owned and operated by Tommy Gabl and his son Tanner Gabl.
They both have a lifetime passion for animals, especially doggos!
Tommy handles the business operations and oversees the Diggity Doggies.
He has been successfully managing packs of dogs in a cage-free daycare and boarding setting, serving the Naperville, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Aurora, and Oswego communities, since 2014 and has never had a vet emergency since that time.
Tanner helps oversee the Diggity Doggies and has been helping his father watch packs of dogs in a cage-free daycare and boarding setting since 2014.

We are very selective in what dogs we allow in our pack.
Safety will always come before a high dog count for profit.
All the dogs at Diggity Doggy are non-aggressive and are *non-anxious (please see below for our definition of anxious).
2. Our staff is trained to watch out for the behaviors that occur before an altercation between the dogs.
We redirect the dogs as soon as we see these signs in order to avoid there being any serious issues or injury.
3. Bullying is not tolerated (mounting, dominating play/behaviors, forceful play, ignoring social cues, etc.)

Our outside area has K9 grass, play equipment, and 6 foot fencing.
The dogs have constant access to the outside all throughout the day during daycare and during our late night let-outs.
The Diggity Doggies love to play, relax, and take in the sounds of nature when they are back there!
The inside of our facility has plenty of space to roam around and play.
The space is filled with indoor dog playground equipment and top of the line futons with extra thick mattresses to relax on, play on, and go under.

All puppies need to have all puppy boosters completed for Bordetella and Distemper/Parvo and in their system for at least 3 days before we meet for the first time.
This consistency helps tremendously with safety, burning off the appropriate amount of energy needed, separation anxiety, with maintaining and obtaining social skills, and is one of the main reasons why it is safer and more comfortable here at Diggity Doggy than at other daycares.
We made this change after noticing for many years that the majority of issues were happening with dogs that attended less than twice per week and it has proven to be what's best for the dogs and the pack.
