One Smart K-9 specializes in Dog Obedience Training through a board and train process. It begins with boarding your dog for up to 10 days to receive training. After your dog's training, you will receive from your dog's trainer, three private lessons to learn how to work with your dog's newly learned commands. Leadership and respect are both achieved by teaching your dog obedience commands and then applying them in everyday situations.
A trained respectful dog can walk nicely, sit or down on command even with distractions. This results in a calmer more enjoyable canine that everyone in the family can appreciate.

This new puppy prompted my own search for dog training and eventually fly ball and agility.
These dog activities lead me to employment at a large boarding and training facility.
As I worked my way up to assistant supervisor, I acquired great knowledge about kennel management and caring for dogs.
It was at this point I determined that I wanted a career working with man's best friend.
I continued my education at a Dog Training school.
After passing written and dog handling tests, I received my certification.

Blacklick is a small unincorporated community in southern Jefferson Township, Franklin County, Ohio, United States.
Blacklick is also included in the Columbus Metropolitan area.
The community was established by William A. Smith in 1852.
It was originally named Smithville, but there was an existing town by that name so it was renamed to Blacklick after the nearby creek.
It was thought by historian W. Edson Richmond that Blacklick Creek derived its name from local landowner H. G. Black.
However, Richmond references John F. Mansfield's Map of the State of Ohio from 1806 which labels Blacklick Creek, while Henry George Black was not born until 1817.

Gahanna was founded along the Big Walnut Creek in 1849 by John Clark of Ross County from 800 acres (320 ha) of land that his father, Joseph Clark, had purchased from Governor Worthington in 1814.
Clark named his property the Gahanna Plantation, from which the City of Gahanna derives its name.
The name Gahanna is derived from a Native American word for three creeks joining into one and is the former name of the Big Walnut Creek.
The City of Gahanna's Official Seal refers to this confluence of three creeks with the inscription "Three In One".

Pickerington is a city in Fairfield and Franklin counties in the central region of the U.S. state of Ohio.
It was founded in 1815 as Jacksonville, named after Andrew Jackson.
Pickerington was known as Jacksonville until 1827, when the citizens petitioned the state legislature to change the name to Pickerington in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering.
It is a suburb of Columbus.
The population was 18,291 at the 2010 census.
As land annexation, development, and immigration into the Columbus area continues, the city of Pickerington (like many area suburbs) has generally followed suit.
