At Halter & Harness we are dedicated to loving your pet almost as much as you do! As pet owners and lovers ourselves we pledge to show the same care and attention to your family members as we do to ours! Let's face it, when it comes to having to leave your pets, whether it be for work or for a vacation it can be very worrisome! When I was a young child we boarded our dog while we were away on vacation.
Upon arriving home, we were told he had a heart attack and was deceased. I still remember that day so vividly, I was heart broken, and I vowed to myself that I would never put one of my dogs in a kennel. To this day, nearly 40 years later, I have kept that vow.and boy was it hard! For years I had 3 dogs and I also owned a small horse farm in northeastern Connecticut where I kept 3 horses of my own, as well a few boarders.
Have you ever tried to go on vacation with that amount of animals to have cared for? I hope you never have to! The stress was unparalleled! There were usually two courses of action: beg a friend to stay over and help out which cost an arm.

Hi! My Name is Kelly, and I am a retired horse trainer and Level III Certified Hunter/Jumper Instructor of over 25 years, lifelong equestrian-within that time I ran two 30 plus stall barns.
I endeavor to keep animals as a part of my family and treat them as such, and I will treat yours the same.
I currently have 1 dog, Winston-Labradoodle) and 1 horse (Samoa-Buckskin Paint) that I spoil on a daily basis (they are splashed all over these pages!).

Daily dog or cat walking/feeding on your schedule which includes playtime or merely keeping your pet company!
We can also help socialize your pet by going to a dog park, or even bring one of my pooches to play!.
A.M. & P.M. feedings of your equine royalty along with PERFECT stall cleaning, watering, turn-out, even lunging if you so desire, once we get to know your equine treasure I will be willing to school a bit if you'd like!.
