After spending my entire childhood wanting to do something in the animal industry I found myself 15 years into a corporate America job.
While I was pretty good at the job, I more often than not found myself dreading the day ahead and dreaming of getting back into the animal field.
I'm grateful for my time there because it gave me the skills and knowledge to take on a director position at a not-for-profit animal rescue, my dream job!
During my time at the rescue I learned all I could about animal behavior, signs and signals an animal displays when they are sick or hurting, aggressive animal handling, vaccine and health protocols, enrichment techniques, canine nutrition and much more.
