The UltiMutt Inn & Pet Resort is a very special, home-like, interactive playground and pet resort set on a 17-acre farm in scenic Geauga County in northeastern Ohio-just 45 minutes east of Cleveland. With lots of green grass, fresh country air and TONS of tail wagging fun! We offer HUGE, spacious, climate-controlled, Luxury dog suites, cozy Single Suites, adorable MiniMutt Zone, and a Slumber Zone area that is like a slumber party for dogs!
Each area decorated in a unique theme, with complimentary amenities such as flat screen televisions, rugs, pillows, comfortable beds in each room, and nightly "turn down" with a cookie on the pillow. Sonja & her dog, Ellis, welcome you to The UltiMutt Inn & Pet Resort, and hope that your dogs enjoy their stay!.
Sonja has been taking care of animals at some level most of her life.
As a child, she did pet sitting during the summers.
In high school and during college, she always had 2-3 boarding horses at her backyard barn.
After college, she worked at several office jobs but realized that she did not enjoy being cooped up indoors, away from her animals all day.
In 1994, she bought her property in Burton and decided to start a horse boarding operation.

All accommodations for our guests include many of the same services you would find for yourself at a resort: private rooms, daily room service, fresh linens, delicious meals and snacks, an array of fun-filled activities, and a very caring and attentive staff!
Cleanliness is very important to us and therefore, we use child daycare center standards for cleaning.
There is no limit on how much luggage a guest can bring along for their stay (ie, beds, blankets, toys, etc.).
Guests are provided with daily laundry service as needed.

We are not just a facility providing an energy outlet, but rather we believe in fostering learning and helping dogs gain confidence, all of which reduces stress and adds balance to their everyday lives.

The MiniMutt Zone at The UltiMutt Inn provides fun, stress-free small dog day care and overnight boarding for dogs under 30 lbs.* and whose temperaments are compatible with a group play setting.
