Doggie Joggie is San Diego's premiere service for daily dog exercise, dog training, & pet care. At Doggie Joggie, we provide everything your pet needs while you're away, from dog walking or running while you're at work, to overnight pet sitting, to daily cat check-ins while you're on vacation. We are proud to be San Diego's original service that jogs your dog on-leash.
We believe that a simple dog walk, while better than nothing, is not sufficient exercise for many dogs. Like humans, dogs need regular cardiovascular exercise to elevate their heart rate and maintain optimal health. Doggie Joggie specializes in fast paced exercise sessions tailored to each dog. We also incorporate mental "obedience breaks" within our exercise sessions to keep dogs mentally challenged and focused, which actually wears them out as much as physical exercise!
We think of our exercise sessions as cross training for your dog, giving them much more than the opportunity to just go out and relieve themselves.

Doggie Joggie was founded in 2013 by brother and sister Ali Meza & Sam Goodman in order to offer San Diego dog owners the vital service of providing dogs with the exercise they need to be healthy, happy, and balanced.
We believe that a leisurely dog walk, while beneficial, does not actually fulfill most dogs' exercise needs.
For many years the only commercial service providing exercise to dogs has been dog walking, and there are still many dog walking services that do just that.
However, for most dogs a 20-30 minute walk is not sufficient to elevate their heart-rate for enough time to give them the health benefits they need.

Sam Goodman is Founder and General Manager of Doggie Joggie.
Throughout his life he has always found a special connection with all animals, and has always loved being outdoors.
During his college career he walked and ran his professor's retired greyhounds while attending Oberlin College.
After graduating in 2009, he moved to Chicago, then to Seattle, and finally settled down in San Diego with his wife, Lisa.
Everywhere he has lived, Sam has always maintained a value-system of being a loyal, sincere and hardworking person, someone who loves the outdoors, loves adding value to people's lives, and loves connecting with animals.
