We have been offering professional in-home pet sitting and dog walking specialized to fit your needs for the past 15 years. We have taken courses and trainings from Fetch Find, an expert-backed pet care education site, and continue to keep ourselves up to date with the newest training courses available. We partner with local dog trainers who help us further our education on working with pups with various personality traits.
We have prior experience working in a veterinary clinic where we learned about medication administration, vaccination information, and how to work with animals with special needs. Our pet sitting and dog walking business was created by the passion of caring for animals.
Thirteen years ago while working in a different career path, Nanette was simultaneously trying to care for a very sick pup at home that needed around the clock care.
Finding someone during that time that Nanette could trust and depend on proved more difficult than she imagined.
Why was it so hard to find dependability, passion, and consistency in a pet sitter?
Before long, Nanette realized that not only was she this dependable, passionate, and consistent caretaker for her pet, but she had a drive to extend that to other pet owners that may be facing similar challenges.

For example, you may request a 1-hour check-in plus 1-hour walk to create a 2-hour visit with a guaranteed 1-hour walk time.
We offer private, GPS tracked dog walks with picture and video updates for our adventure around your neighborhood.
Great for all energy levels ranging from the leisurely walker to the high energy runner, we have the right fit for your pup!

Our initial meeting is a free 30-minute meet & greet.
At this meeting, we will get to know both you and your pet(s) and go over important information about them and their specific needs.
This will also give us an opportunity to get to know their routine and personality so we are able to provide the best care possible.

Nanette is amazing! I was really nervous about letting someone who we don't know personally to watch our kittens and be in our home, but I felt super at ease after we talked and met Nanette in person. She definitely has animal whisperer vibes :) and I felt like she was someone I could trust.
We left for about a week and had her come twice a day. She would send videos and pictures of our kittens to let us know how happy they were.
When we got home from our trip, she had left everything so clean, way above and beyond what I was expecting a cat sitter to do. The space around the kitty litter and their food was tidy and Nanette even took out one of our recycle boxes and set the bins out for us.
She created a video/slideshow with music too, totally wasn't expecting that at all. It is apparent that she loves what she does and takes her job seriously and with a lot of fun too.
We will hire her again when we leave on a trip sometime in the future

I can not say enough good things about Nanette, she is amazing! We have used her for the last few years and are so thankful we found her! Nanette genuinely loves taking care of peoples pets. We know our pup is in the best hands when she is taking care of him. Our dog adores her, it's like a vacation for him when she watches him! Nanette is so accommodating, flexible and is always responsive! She sends us tons of pictures and videos of our pup when she's with him. We would highly recommend Nanette to anyone, you'd be lucky to have her, we sure are!

Nanette is TOP NOTCH! The level of service and the personal touch she delivers cannot be beat! I recently rescued a 5-month old puppy, Neo and because of my busy work schedule, was looking at options into daycare. The moment I contacted Nanette regarding her services, she was prompt and very responsive.
I fully trust Nanette with Neo, she not makes sure that he has a good time with her, she also takes the time to re-enforce all of his positive training.
The best part is she gives me updates of photos and videos on how Neo is doing. Nanette is the dog-whisperer of San Diego in my book and 100% trust her.
