Intrepid Tails is a door-to-door doggie adventure service. We pick up your pup, bring them for a hike (and if weather permits, a swim) off leash with a GPS tracker, and a small group of friends. Then afterwards we bring them home. Simple and easy with no hassle for you. We strive to enrich the lives of dogs, while simultaneously helping out discerning dog parents, like you, who are busy during the day.
So then, you can come home to a dog who is happy and relaxed. Our staff is certified in pet first aid/CPR and trained continuously in dog behavior recognition. We use aversive-free handling methods (no shock collars, ever!) and have been recommended by multiple KPA CTP trainers. Loki has truly loved these hikes and we really have noticed big improvements in his recall and are even more comfortable with him being off leash since he's started.
Aside from us adopting her, Intrepid Tails is probably the best thing that has ever happened to Bailey. She loves it so much! Woodrow lights up when he gets picked up and after a day in the woods with his dog friends he's content and at peace.

While your pup is under our supervision we reward and encourage good choices, which not only aides in boosting confidence but also builds trust between dog and handler.

High impact activity such as jumping from heights or sharp turns can cause cause injury or alter development.
This in turn can potentially alter the structural development of a dog which can cause various issues down the line or can cause long term or permanent damage.
We provide fresh water, teats, transportation, and a towel-off before letting them back inside.
