Services
My name is Barb Britt and I am the proud owner of Safe At Home Cat Sitting, based out of Millersville, Maryland.
I started my cat sitting business in 2001 after having a bad experience when boarding a pet.
I knew I would never board again and thought other people would probably be more comfortable leaving their cat(s) at home too.
I've been an x-ray technologist for many years but have always wanted to work with animals since animals are my passion.
I worked at a vets' office part-time for 7 years and started pet sitting for some clients.

I will email you my contract ahead of time and we'll go over the details when I come to meet you and the cat(s).
I'll discuss pet care and get to know you and your cat(s).
I'll go around your house with you and get specific instructions on location of food, water, litter, etc.
I require visiting cat(s) at least once a day for safety reasons.
Most of my clients give me a key to keep for future cat sitting visits.
This makes arranging your next cat sit just a call away.
Also, if you ever get locked out of your house, you know who has a key.
