Cardio Canine exercisers are professional people who love dogs and know how to handle them; we are athletic, dependable and trustworthy. We love what we do. And we love your dog. After a successful professional career for 25 years, Kayla decided it was time to try something completely different. In 2003 her love of dogs and the outdoors prompted her to take a leap of faith and develop Cardio Canine - a unique company providing a unique service.

A life long athlete, Kayla competed at the Dragon Boat World Championships in 2007 and 2011 with the USA National Dragon Boat Team. Her USA Senior Mixed Team won 5 silver medals in 2011. Kayla lives in Berwyn with her family, including 2 rescue dogs, Cody and Barkley. June is a real estate agent on the Main Line and lives in Devon. She owns an English Bulldog, Bebe, and a cat named Spencer.

June is also a volunteer with Heaven Sent Bulldog Rescue in NJ. She has fostered and adopted many dogs over the years. As a former runner and certified aerobics instructor, being part of the Cardio Canine team fulfills two of her favorite passions; fitness and a love for animals.
Services
We'll ask a bunch of questions to make sure we know what we need to know about your dog's health and temperament.
Our exercisers pick up your dog at your home and drive her to a local park for an hour long session, then bring her home.
She will get a good handle on your dog's condition, likes and dislikes, reaction to different stimuli.
Your dog will have a blast exploring different parks, woods and streams while getting an excellent workout.
When another exerciser gets to work with your dog, we'll tell you and you can meet them if you wish.
A Cardio Canine session consists of a car ride to a park, a full hour of exercise at the park tailored specifically for your dog, and the car ride home.
The hour starts when we arrive at the park, so the total session including travel time usually ranges from 1 hour and 10 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes depending on how far you live from an appropriate park.
Per session per additional dog from the same household, depending on size, obedience, etc.
We currently cover the Upper Main Line area outside Philadelphia PA.
There aren't many dogs who truly want to just run for the full hour.
Dogs find that to be pretty boring.
For a dog in good shape, we keep the cardio level high with a mix of hiking, running, swimming, chasing stuff - for about 50 minutes.
The rest of the hour is spent on warm up, water breaks, cool down and TLC.
Of course we are constantly monitoring your dog to make sure the exercise level is right for him.
And yes - if your dog really does want to run for the full hour and can handle it, we'll do that.
