Lost Pet Service
Blue received life-saving spinal surgery thanks to the generous donations from our community, Lost Pet Services, and Lead SRQ. Additional funding for her treatment was provided in part by the Robert Parker Fund of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. We want to especially thank Suncoast Emergency & Specialty Center and Dr. Levine of Levine Veterinary Neurology.

The organization was originally founded in 2013 as a Facebook group by Patty Giarrusso when she lost her two dogs, Jackson Browne and Rocko. Thankfully, they were found safe and she then embarked on a mission. That mission led to the Lost and Found Pets 941 (Lost Pet Services ) Facebook group which is now the largest, most active lost and found group in the Manatee - Sarasota County areas covering Sarasota, Bradenton, Palmetto, Parrish, Ellenton, Venice, Northport, Myakka and areas beyond.

Lost Pet Services has successfully reunited 1,000s of local pets with their owners and has helped hundreds of pets with vet care - from routine care to major injuries and surgeries.
