My name is Kay Walters and I am the owner/operator of Critters. My life has been and continues to be enriched with a love of animals. Dogs, cats, and even reptiles have been a part of my family from early childhood until present. I grew up a 'Marine Corps brat' and moved to San Clemente in 1979 upon graduating from high school in Camp Butler Okinawa.
My passion for pets fueled my career drive. I graduated from grooming school in 1988, and was hired at Critters. Concurrently, I served as a volunteer groomer for the local animal shelter as well as ARF. Fortunately, I was able to buy Critters in 1995, and made the move to become mobile in 2003. Appointments are confirmed by phone, and average an hour in length.
The Critters mobile unit pulls up to the front of your home at appointment time and is completely self contained (electricity, water and water disposal).
