Our Pack Leader Dee Green has been professionally nurturing human-canine relationships for almost 15 years. Dee grew up with dogs in the home, and demonstrated an innate ability to understand and communicate with canines by the age of 10. She has since shared her adult life with at least 3 dogs, and sometimes as many as 9 in her personal pack at one time, including Chows, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and terriers of all stripes.
This first-hand exposure to pack dynamics and dog psychology informs her behavior modification methodologies, and leadership-oriented training. Dee considers her study of dog behavior to be a life-long pursuit. She supplements hands-on, daily training experience with a wide variety of books, workshops, and seminars led by noted experts in the field such as Dr. Patricia McConnell ("The Other End of the Leash"), and Cesar Millan (Dog Whisperer on National Geographic Channel, "Cesar's Way, " "Be The Pack Leader").
Dee Green has been professionally nurturing human-canine relationships for over 20 years.

10 Month-Old Baby Airlifted After Dog Attack Whenever I hear of a baby or young child being bitten by a dog, my mind is immediately flooded with questions: Who was watching their interaction?
What warning signs did the dog give?
What's the history between this dog and this baby?
Was food or a toy involved?.
When you repeat a command, you make it harder for a dog to understand what you want them to do.
When you repeat a command multiple times, you aren't "teaching" or "training, " you're delaying learning.

Our philosophy is simple.
Work with a dog's native language, fulfill their instincts and drive, and nurture their physical, mental, and emotional development with clear, compassionate leadership, and sufficient exercise.
Urban dogs frequently live a life that's at odds with their biological needs and instincts.
They aren't humans, and don't come pre-programmed with human values and social conditioning.
Until you tell them what they should chew on, they have no idea your shoes, cabinets, and couch are off limits.

Dogs are genetically programmed to assume a leadership role in their pack, if no one else is behaving like a leader in their eyes.
Most dogs are born followers, not leaders, so when they're forced to assume this role, they become unbalanced.
Insecure dogs become anxious; fearful dogs become aggressive.
Behaviors such as excessive barking, separation anxiety, resource guarding, dog-dog aggression, and people aggression usually disappear when a dog relinquishes the power position in their pack.
The key is earning your dog's respect as the pack leader.

Besides being a lot of fun, the pack environment brings out a variety of instinctual play behaviors, providing your dog with mental, as well as physical stimulation.
This release of long pent-up energy leads to calmer and happier dogs.
Positive, controlled exposure to other dogs can also reduce the anxiety that leads to dog-dog aggression over time.
Balanced Dogs Playgroups are not dog park "free-for-alls."
In any public, off-leash park it's impossible to control the number of dogs, or their ability to safely interact with each other.

I wanted to thank you for your time and dedication in finding the perfect dog companion for my husband and me.
When we moved into our new place, our landlords insisted we sign an agreement that if the dog was a nuisance in any way that we would get rid of it.
Charlie is just the best dog for us, and we know that if we had not had you on our doggie case that we might be facing an eviction or worse!
Your services were invaluable to us and I believe that any prospective dog adopters would benefit from this matching service.
