Ever since she can remember, Heather Smalley has had a love and passion for animals of all kinds. At a young age, she was involved with the 4-H Group in Texas, working on various projects involving critters of all shapes and sizes. After a number of years at 4-H, she began volunteering at various animal shelters and humane societies where her compassion for animals grew stronger than ever.
Having worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility she learned just how stressful traditional boarding can be on a pet. Although dog daycare can be a great social experience for your pet, some pets need that extra love and attention that often times falls to the side in larger facilities. It is for that reason she founded For the Love of Dog.where your pet is our passion!
Fully certified in pet first aid & CPR. Heather's ultimate goal is to not only provide the best care possible for your pet but also to ensure their tail never stops wagging while you're away.
