While it may be tempting to hire the trainer who responds the fastest to your phone call or who can schedule you immediately, it is not wise to do so. Hiring the right dog trainer is a decision not to be taken lightly nor to be made hastily. It requires care, discernment, and research. After all, you wouldn't trust just anyone to influence your dog's behavior (and ultimately your dog's mental, emotional, and physical well-being), would you?

I believe that dog trainers should be transparent. Unlike many trainers in the area, I disclose my qualifications, my services, my methodology, and my prices. I also offer no guarantees. I don't claim any quick fixes, instant results, or other gimmicks like "one lesson is all you'll need" or "guaranteed off leash in ten days." Dogs are animals, not appliances; modifying their behavior takes a lot of repetition, consistency, and time.

I am selective with whom I work, and I don't accept all business inquiries. I accept those cases in which I believe I can achieve success with dogs and their humans.

All consultations cost $125, last approximately 2 hours, and take place in the comfort and convenience of your home.
