Canine Behavioral Specialists
Jill Haffley is a Dog Behavior Expert and a Professional Dog Trainer Colorado Springs, Colorado. A professional member of and a Certified Dog Trainer through the International Association of Canine Professionals and an AKC STAR Puppy and Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, Jill initially focused on the obedience side of dog training, but then quickly developed an interest in understanding why dogs behave the way they do.

An avid dog trainer for over 25 years, Jill has learned a variety of methods and philosophies regarding dog training and behavior modification, with an emphasis on pack behavior. A student of dog psychology, it is through her observations, awareness, and first-hand experience that she is able to devise formulas to help dogs and their owners. Jill's hundreds of hours of study and hands-on work as a dog trainer, allows people, and ultimately the dogs themselves, to put their trust in her.

At Canine Behavioral Specialists, we treat every dog as if he were our own. Maybe you have a new puppy who needs to learn the fundamentals or an older dog who needs a bit of fine tuning.

Jill is the most patient, confident, and successful trainer I have ever met.
I can see that she really cares for each pet that comes to her.
To this day, when my dog needs a brush-up on behavior, all she has to do is see Jill and she is right back on track.
Jill is invaluable to 4 Paws Rescue.
She is always available to help us fix the "problem issues" some of our fosters come with, and there is no challenge too big for her.
If you listen and follow Jill's process, you will have a balanced dog in no time!
Hello, my name is Crystal Givens and I am an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist.
I met Jill last year after we rescued Scout, a beautiful black lab.
Jill's training has made all the difference.
Because of her expertise, we now have a well-trained dog instead of a wild and out of control one.
Thank you Jill!
I want to let pet owners know about a program that I teach and am very passionate about.
It is called "The Grief Recovery Pet Loss Support Group."
It is a 6-week program, (taught online or in person) that is designed to help pet owners effectively recover from a painful pet loss.
