In 2008 we sold our business in San Antonio and decided to retire early to Kerrville.
Well that didn't work out as planned - boredom soon set in.
At that time our number of pets had dwindled to two dogs: Sugar, a MinPin Garry rescued off the streets in San Antonio, and Willy, a Standard Poodle who was quite elderly and sick with cancer.
We were called to South Dakota to attend to a family emergency.
Unable to take the dogs with us, we boarded them at a very reliable kennel.
However, upon our return, Willy was extremely stressed to the point of having severe diarrhea.
