Capital City Pet Sitters
Capital City Pet Sitters is located in Columbus Ohio and serve Northwest Columbus including the areas of; Dublin, Grandview Heights, Hilliard and Upper Arlington. We are NOT a boarding facility and do not sit your pets at our home. We provide pet sitting services for your furry children from the comfort of THEIR home. Being away from your pets is hard, but it might be even harder on them.

Boarding can be traumatizing and risky to your pets. All the barking, strange smells, exposure to contagious illnesses and a change to their routine can really upset their balance. Not to mention the cost and they still don't get the attention they deserve. CCPS tries to structure our pricing to cover the typical family's furry children. If you have 1 dog and 1 cat, no problem they are included in the same fee.

If you have 2 dogs, don't worry, our fees cover that too. We don't believe in charging you for 1 dog and then a separate charge for your cat. CCPS is owner operated. You won't have to worry about which sitter will be taking care of your pets on any particular day.
Services
Capital City Pet Sitters is owned by my wife and I.
We live in a little slice of Columbus in-between Upper Arlington and Hilliard which allows us to cover several zip codes within a 10-15 minute drive.
We live with our masters, Gibson, the dog, and our cats, Gus and siblings, Ranger and Pixie.
All of which are spoiled.
I'm surprised they are even allowing us to share our time with your pets, but then again someone has to put food in their bowls and make sure the floor is sufficiently covered in toys.
We've broken our pet sitting services down into two options; Standard Visits and Quick Stop Visits.
If these two options don't quite fit the needs of your pets, please email us at sitter@capitalcitypetsitters.com and we'll try to custom work a plan that works for you.
We recommend cats get at least 1 visit a day and depending on size and age of the dog, we recommend at least 2 visits.
More visits may be necessary if your pet has a hard time with bladder control.
A Standard Visit lasts for up to 30 minutes and includes a short walk, potty break, litter clean out (once per day), fresh water, feeding, medication if needed and playtime!
Q: What if my pet gets hurt or sick while you're watching them?
A: At the time of our meet and greet, we'll collect a number of pieces of information from you, including your veterinarian's information.
If you do not have a preferred veterinarian, we'll take them to one of our vet's two office locations, Northstar Animal Care or Upper Arlington Veterinary Hospital.
Q: What if my pet has an accident while I'm away, will you clean up after them?
A: We ask that your dog(s) be able to hold their urine at least overnight, 10 hours at a minimum.
