Boarding and daycare for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Havanese, Pugs, Beagles and other well mannered small breeds in our Oregon City home (SE of Portland). Guests stay in our home as part of the family with full run access to our family room, the whole first floor of our home and 3 fenced yard areas. Guests are not kept in kennels or runs.

In 1998 we bought our first Cavalier and in 2000 after doing health testing we had our first litter of puppies.
As my new puppy owner went on vacation they asked me if I could watch their Cavaliers.
So I found I enjoyed watching the different Cavaliers and also saw how it energized my dogs.
So with watching other dogs it has had a positive effect on mine and now puppy watching has grown into Just Like Home Dog Boarding.
I am a Professional Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.

Daycare: Doggie Day Care covers a morning drop off and evening pickup.
Services include feeding (you provide food), Medication (oral or topical), group socialization and playtime.
Dogs have run of the facility privileges, inside and out.
Crates are used only for feeding and drop off unless requested.
Overnight and Vacation Boarding: Unlimited daily group playtime, evening group socialization with couch and TV time with the family.
11PM bed time in individual crates or private room (recommend you bring their personal crate from home if they have one).

No, we have a 1000 sq foot family room and fenced yard especially designed for our 4 legged friends.
Our dogs and guests all live and play together in a true Just Like Home environment.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes, we have a General Liability Insurance Policy that includes Care, Custody and Control (CCC) coverage endorsement designed for IACP Professional Members.
We love dogs of all sizes but specialize in watching small indoor dogs.
We will watch a larger dog if it is a house mate of a small dog in our care and will watch medium size dogs with evaluation and if low energy.

If you treat the dog as a human, the dog will, in return, defiantly treat the human as a dog.
