I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't love animals.
My grandfather was the Curator of Mammals at the Philadelphia Zoo and he introduced me to the world of animals at a very young age.
I loved them all, but I especially loved dogs.
Dogs have enriched my life in ways too immeasurable to detail.
I always knew that I wanted to give back to dogs in a way equivocal to how they had enriched my life.
When, as a little girl, I began to learn of shelters and the ways that people could hurt dogs through neglect or worse I vowed that I would save them all.
