Rocket Boy Cat Sitting (formerly Furry Friends Pet Sitting) is named after my beloved boy, Mr. Mooch, who I had to say goodbye to in August of 2018. Mooch was about 19 years old, and the best thing that ever happened to me. I always called him my little "Rocket Boy". Since 2009, I have provided professional and loving pet care throughout parts of Western Massachusetts.
While I of course still love our canine friends and still provide dog walking service when scheduling allows, I have considered the idea of creating a more cat-centric service for a considerable time, and with the passing of my boy, it seemed like the ideal way and time to honor his wonderful memory. By working with a professional cat sitter, your cats won't experience the anxiety of going to a strange place or run the risk of illness.
They will receive the same level of care that you would give them, and you will have the peace of mind that comes with knowing your cats are being cared for by an experienced caregiver in a familiar environment - their own home.

My personal and professional experience, as well as volunteer experience at Nick's Nursery, Dakin Humane Society's Intensive Care Unit for kittens, has simply made me more passionate about these always beautiful, sometimes graceful, and often (wonderfully) bizarre feline friends.
I would love the opportunity to share these years of experience with you, my fellow cat lovers.

Initial Registration Visit - This complimentary in-home consultation will allow me to meet you and your cats.
Just as importantly, it allows you to meet me and ask any questions you may have of the services provided.
I will tailor a cat care program to meet your cat's specific needs.
Please note if you are away for more than one day, there is a one visit per day minimum.
I do not offer every other day visits.
Too many things can happen in the course of 48 hours and I am personally not comfortable offering that service.
Just as importantly, it allows you to meet me and ask any questions you may have of the services provided.
