Blue Water Kennels is conveniently located by two expressways--near the junction of I-94 & I-69 and not far from the Blue Water Bridge. Our dog and cat boarding and grooming kennels has been located in Port Huron Township, MI for over 25 years.

At Blue Water Kennels, much like a hotel, we refer to your dog or cat as "our guest".

Our spacious, attached indoor and outdoor kennel runs allow your dog freedom to go in and out at leisure.
This is especially helpful for nervous or cautious guests and allows a less stressful introduction while your pet acclimates to the kennel and staff.
Each dog is separated by cyclone fencing that ensures personal space but allows safe viewing and the fun and company of "neighbors".
Raised platforms, fleece pads, and/or blankets are available for your dog's comfort but some owners prefer to bring their own bedding.
This is especially helpful for nervous or cautious guests and allows a less stressful introduction while your pet acclimates to the kennel and staff.

Each guest has their own kitty condo with 3 levels--the floor and 2 levels of perches.
The floor level includes the litter pan, water and food bowls.
The bi-level perches includes a double-wide sleeping platform covered in comfortable fleece at the top level.
Solid partitions separate the condos for privacy and give many cats a sense of security.
These can be removed when you are boarding multiple cats so our guests can continue to have a family experience while in their own space.

The "Boarder Bath and Nail trim" is always offered for any of our visiting guests -- but call the groomer to add in any shaving, trimming, or styling extras for a "Pro Groom".
Non-Boarder Bath and Nails -- available by appointment for our non-boarding clients or between boarding visits.
Professional Groom (Pro-Groom) -- bath & nail trim with shaving or trimming of the hair coat to a certain style by our Certified Groomer; by appointment only and after consulting with the groomer.
This option is for boarding guests as well as non-boarding clients.
Non-Boarder Bath and Nails -- available by appointment for our non-boarding clients or between boarding visits.

Pick up and drop-offs are available in the a.m. for the local Port Huron area and along the I-94 corrider north of Detroit such as in the Grosse Pointes, Harper Woods and St. Clair Shores areas, etc.
Prices vary depending on location and travel time, and if single or multiple pets.
