For over 17 years, Doggy Workout has provided dog walking and dog boarding services to Alexandria VA. Our most popular service now is the Dog Playgroup. Dogs will get a full hour of high energy play in a private 14,000 square foot fenced yard. Since the start of the business in 2004, we have always strived to provide exceptionally caring, dependable service for your dogs at highly affordable prices.
Much like a human fingerprint, no two dogs share the same noseprint. One company is using this information to help locate lost dogs. Using pictures of a dog's nose, they can scan the image and create a unique registration for the pet. Instinct from their ancestors in the wild carry over to your domesticated pet. They like to make a nest to retain heat, while at the same time protecting their vital organs from would be predators.
Hearing is the last of the senses to develop in puppies. They begin to hear around three weeks old. By the time their senses fully develop, they can hear approximately four times as well as humans.

In 2004, I was working in Old Town and was looking to make a little extra income.
I frequently spent lunches going home to walk my dog, when a coworker mentioned that people made a living providing that service.
It was definitely an exciting thought!
Things started slowly, which was all I could handle with another job.
By the start of 2005, business had picked up enough so that I knew I would need to focus solely on dog walking, so by May of 2005, it became my full time job.
We currently provide service to most of Alexandria.

A few laps around, and dogs are lying down panting!

When you combine this with the 10 dog playgroup limit, every dog in playgroup basically has an entire doggy daycare space for himself!
Dogs will have a blast playing with their friends each day.
This wide space allows dogs to run at their full speed.

Also, since they will be among other dogs in the house and during playgroup, they must not have any current or past aggression issues.
As you can see, they'll get tons of time to play in the yard and wear themselves out.
