With hundreds of happy canine clients, it was hard to say "goodbye" to the east, however The Green Groomer is looking forward to providing the same, private, attentive, loving, and compassionate, service to the west coast canines!
The van has two water tanks. One for the fresh water, and one for the gray water. The gray water is used for watering plants. NO WATER WASTE. Once a relationship is formed with the client, arrangements can be made for the groomer to have access to the house, when the client cannot be home, to get the dog(s) for grooming. The dogs are taken to the bathroom before being put back in the house.
Please note, the "tax" section in this article does not apply to your rate. Taxes are not added to your grooming rate. Taxes are paid out of the rate you are charged. I keep hearing lately, my groomer closed, my groomer sold her place, my groomer moved, my groomer doesn't groom anymore.

Mobile grooming IS MORE EXPENSIVE than going to a shop; it is a SPECIALTY SERVICE for those wanting a low stress, one on one, grooming experience for their dog.
Unlike a grooming shop, mobile groomers do not groom as many dogs in one day.
Some shops can groom up to 50 dogs a day, mobile groomers only groom a fraction of that.
The Green Groomer, Mobile DOG Spa is based out of Ojai, and travels to many surrounding towns (areas outside of Ojai are charged a higher rate.)

Nancy has been wonderful grooming our dog Calvin.
Calvin does not like any animals or loud appliances.
Nancy has been patient and kind when dealing with him.
She tries different techniques to get his nails clipped and dry him (he likes to eat the dryer).
You can't go wrong with Nancy as your dog's groomer.
We will definitely miss her!
