While we specialize in training, Currey's Family Pet Care offers a full range of pet care services including boarding and grooming. Our mission is to teach humans the art of speaking dog.

My name is Patrick Currey, I would like to take a moment to tell you a little about myself and how I can help you become a better leader, handler and a happier dog owner.
My background is as a working dog handler for over 16 years and a trainer for the last five years.
I have worked and trained six full-service K9s in the United States Army including narcotics, explosive and personal protection.
I served five of my eight years in Europe, while serving many assignments in many different countries.

Dog teams (Owner/Dog) must have on/off leash capabilities and no dog aggression issues.
Group formation obedience is designed to make your dog perform in a multitude of conditions beyond your normal training; in order to build confidence in the dog team.

At Currey's Family Pet Care in Romulus, we work on ideas for you to be able to burn energy during the nasty winter months, as well as building confidence in both you and your dog.
Energy Burning is a two-week course (one hour per class day).
This course is designed to positively introduce you and your dog to the equipment, as well as a variety of both physical and mental challenges.
This course will give you the opportunity to participate in any of our scheduled drop-in sessions with a group of other dogs.
