Combining my love of animals with my love of the mountains is a dream come true, and I am happy to be offering professional pet care to Nederland area residents. I care for all kinds of animals, big and small, and visits are customized so your pets will get everything they need while you're away.

I am an Animal Reiki and Healing Touch for Animals Practitioner and work with animals of all species to promote health and wellness. Hi! My name is Katie and I own and operate Cherry's Pet Care in Nederland, CO.
I have been around animals my entire life.
I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, rats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
My daughter and I now have three dogs and two cats, all hard-to-place rescues.
I first moved to Nederland in 1993, a few years after graduating from Western State College, and feel blessed to be able to combine my love of animals with my love of the mountains.

With Cherry's Pet Care, they will be able to stay in their own environment where they are most comfortable.
I will come in and care for your pets (dogs, cats, birds, caged animals and horses) as many times a day as needed, with a minimum of three visits a day for dogs and one visit per day for cats.
My goal is to maintain your animal's regular routine.
Any other reasonable pet or home related tasks - I personalize every visit to accommodate you and your pets needs!

Cherry is the sweet little senior medical research beagle we adopted from The Kindness Ranch in Hartville, WY when she was 9 1/2 years old.
She spent 9 years living on a concrete floor in the basement of a laboratory.
We don't know much about her time there, only that she was one of the lucky ones that made it out alive.
When we got her, she was so stiff that she could barely make it to Mud Lake from the parking lot.
In the short time we had her she got stronger and spent a lot of time outside with my daughter and our other dogs, Katrina and Rica.
