Creekside Kennel is a country boarding and daycare experience designed for every breed of dog. Led by dog trainer and veterinary technician Dawn Niebuhr, Creekside focuses on what dogs need and want when away from home. Our attentive staff carefully pairs each dog's personality and unique traits with activities that engage and excite. Nestled in the peaceful woods of Rensselaer County, our modern, yet rustic facility offers a safe and serene environment that is perfect for play, as well as relaxation.

The ideal location was found in 1990 in the scenic hills on the Rensselaer Plateau, along the Poestenkill Creek in Poestenkill, NY just 20 minutes north east of Troy.
Creekside Kennel Ltd provides pet owners with a variety of services including dog boarding, doggie daycare, grooming and obedience training.
In just five years Creekside was in such high demand an expansion of the facility became necessary and Camp Creekside grew from 13 indoor/outdoor kennel runs to 30!

Creekside Kennel Ltd provides pet owners with a variety of services including dog boarding, doggie daycare, grooming and obedience training.
In just five years Creekside was in such high demand an expansion of the facility became necessary and Camp Creekside grew from 13 indoor/outdoor kennel runs to 30!
All Boarding includes climate controlled indoor / outdoor kennel runs, rubber matting, a minimum of 4 turn-outs a day into one of the play yards for potty time, premium house food (Grain Free Wild Caught Salmon & Pea Protein or Lamb & Rice ) and treats.
You are welcome to supply your own food.
All we ask is it be put into zip loc bags enough for each meal, each dog, each day.
Dogs requiring specialized handling Example: No other dogs in play yards while they're out.
No other dogs on either side of them, etc to be determined by mutual decision with Dawn & owner will incur an additional charge of $25.00 + rack rate.
You are welcome to supply your own food.

Our multiple, separate, 6 ft fenced play yards contain an array of toys and seasonal wading pools for your pets fun and comfort and are overseen and maintained by our pet loving staff providing professional care in your absence.
So leaving your dog or cat at Camp Creekside - minutes outside Troy and Albany, NY - will ensure they have days filled with fun and play as they are our top priority!
Our facility is designed to be safe, spacious, clean and comfortable.

A Kitty Camp Sanctuary is located on the second floor of the complex and completely separate from our doggie boarding area.
This is where your cat will stretch, claw, and have a ball when it's not busy napping the day away.
Our cat condos are designed for the kings of the jungle!
Each kitty condo has its own perches, seats, and benches giving plenty of space for exploration, cat scratching, and simply lounging around.
Quarter inch safety mesh allows fresh air to circulate while preventing your cat from getting out.
