Sigrid started Lucky Hounds dog walking, boarding and pet sitting in 2009 in La Honda in the beautiful redwoods between the bay and the coast. In 2017 we moved to a larger property near Colfax in the Gold Country, where we continue to care for dogs. Many of our old clients have followed us here, despite the distance. Our goal is to provide quality, reliable care, dedicated to the health and happiness of all dogs.
We will help first-timers settle in and prepare special meals for finicky eaters. We will play extra games of fetch and ensure everyone is comfortable in their beds at night. Living with us in my home, not in a kennel! Lots of love and affection, belly rubs and treats! Fun and play time, human and canine company (my puppy loves to play and gets everybody going), comfy beds, a safely fenced yard on a large property for playing, a creek to splash and swim, and walks every day!
