I had my dog for about 4 years that we got as a rescue.
During those four years, he was a nervous, anxious, fearful mess, we couldn't even mow the lawn and him be inside the house without him going into panic mode, barking, shaking pacing etc.
Besides the fact he was an overwhelmed bundle of nerves, he was reactive to other dogs.
We would have to scope out our walks to make sure we didn't come across any dogs or he'd bark, lunge on the leash and just act like an insane lunatic.
Not mention he had pretty much zero leash skills.
