At Canoe Ridge Kennels, we promise to treat your pets with loving care, just as if they were our own. Please make summer and holiday reservations as early as possible. Email reservation requests are accepted, but not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation by return email. Please provide us with a copy of your pet's vaccine record. You will be unable to check-in without up to date vaccines. Please contact your veterinarian to make sure that your vaccines are current. We are sorry, we are unable to make exceptions as it concerns missing or expired vaccinations. Your pet MUST meet State of Iowa guidelines for proper vaccines. Bordetella must be given 5-7 days before check-in.

At our canine pub, the safety and comfort of our canine guests is foremost.
The boarding kennel features Priefert 4' x 10' interior kennels.
We do have ten kennels with an attached 4' x 5' covered outdoor patio.
You must request the indoor/outdoor kennel in advance and your dog must not be an excessive barker.
We try to be neighborhood friendly!
Your best friend will enjoy a year round climate controlled facility with ventilation and music, not to mention individual privacy panels.
Included in their stay, all CRK guests will enjoy three individual playtime sessions free.

It is generally recommended that puppies get their first round of "adult" shots at 12 weeks, and the second round at 16 weeks, including rabies.
Additionally, in any kennel environment, a young pup could possibly be exposed to air-borne viruses with an immune system not quite developed to fight it off.
In certain cirmstances, we will board a very young puppy but will use our grooming room to segregate them from the general population for their safety.
