Growing up on a small farm on the east coast, I was provided the opportunity to interact with many different creatures from lizards to horses. I had my first glimpse of what pet grooming was all about at a young age when my mom would bring me to work at her grooming shop.
As an adult with an interest in science and animal care I later decided to pursue a career as a veterinary technician. After moving to Colorado from Connecticut to finish my degree (and get in some wonderful trail running) in 2012, I soon realized it would be hard to imagine a life without animals close by.
