Our services go beyond what you might expect. We understand if your pet requires medication, such as insulin injections, and needs to be on a strict time table of eating and medicating. Your pet stays at home in a safe environment where familiar sights, sounds and smells provide comfort. Your dog will not be left in a cage or run for the day, but rather, visited and leashed walked on the route he or she usually takes with you.

Debra is the owner and principle pet sitter at FPPS.
She has had a passion for animals since before she could talk and as a child, always had the desire to be surrounded by them.
Her family, although not surprised that she ended up in theatre, always felt she should have been a veterinarian.
Following a serious illness, Debra decided it was time to follow that passion and changed careers.
While bringing in her cat, Gryphon, for blood-work one day, she told her vet office that she was making a career change out of theatre and wanted to work with animals and as fate would have it, Croton Animal Hospital had an opening!

Peru, being the land of stray dogs, it made me so sad that not every dog had a home.
I would bring a puppy home and think he was all mine but my mom had to release back into the streets at night while I was asleep.
I started staying at a family friends home when they would go away on vacation for weeks on end.
It surprises me now taking care of one or two dogs for FPPS clients when my very first overnight consisted of 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 hamsters and 2 goldfish.
