Dr. Jeff Hendricks developed a love for animals growing up on the family dairy farm near Bardstown, Kentucky.
He then attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received his DVM degree in 1981.
He began his career working in a mixed animal practice in Arcanum where he met his future wife, Lisa.
Lisa Hendricks is from Pitsburg, Ohio.
She was active in 4-H, showing horses and in FFA.
