Here at Dogwood Boarding we provide social-as-you-care boarding and social daycare. We foster a safe, happy, healthy environment for both socialized and non-socialized dogs. Our days are structured to include feedings, afternoon quiet time, a post-nap outside play, and wind-down before their arranged pick-up time. We like to send everyone home tired and wagging!

Our inside and outside facilities are totally secure, well-maintained, clean, and consistently supervised. Odana Chaney is the Owner/Operator and driving force behind Dogwood as well as Scout's Honor Pet Food Pantry. She is a Culloden native, a graduate of Hurricane High School, and is the neighborhood crazy dog lady. She lives within sight of where your furbabies will be sleeping at night and spends over 80 hours a week on site.

Odana is passionate about responsible pet care and ownership, as well as making her community a better place. Find out about our practices, services, prices, and ways we are involved in our community. Are you ready to take the next step?
Services
Since 2017, we have provided the tri-state area with quality, safe dog boarding and daycare.
Dogwood Boarding offers private boarding suites, social play time, and a calm atmosphere to keep your pets happy, relaxed, and having a good time.
Our goal at Dogwood Boarding is to provide dogs with a fun, comfortable boarding experience and provide dog owners with peace of mind knowing their pets are safe and well-cared for.
We use diffused essential oils, classical music, and a structured daily schedule to help all those in our care adjust to their home away from home.
Working to alleviate the immediate needs of hungry pets has long-lasting and impactful effects on our most vulnerable communities.
Scout's Honor helps senior citizens in Cabell, Putnam, and Lincoln counties provide their companion animals with nutritional pet foods, thus improving the quality of life, health, and financial situation of both pets and owners.
Pet ownership has proven positive effects on the physical and mental health, as well as associated costs.
By making it easier for our most vulnerable population to care for their furry friends with quality nutrition, we improve the lives of both parties through the reduction of diet-related or isolation-related disease.
Here you will find a list of other pet assistance resources on the local, state, and national levels.
Please be aware that, unfortunately, an organization may not be in a position to help your specific need at this moment.
Local groups work on an especially delicate combination of pocket change, donations, and heart.
You can make a difference in the lives of West Virginians.
By supporting Scout's Honor Pet Food Pantry you help senior citizens keep their pets and themselves healthy, victims of domestic violence escape their abusers, and pet owners who have lost everything care for their pets.
Your donation allows us to feed pets in need, house refugees of domestic violence, and protect the pets of owners who have lost everything.
We are a 501(c)3 charity, and your donation is tax-deductible.
