Michelle, the owner, and operator of Pawsmere Pet Retreat is a resident of Lake County, Florida. She is a professional dog trainer, pet sitter, and All Breed Dog Groomer with 30 years of experience. She's been caring for animals professionally since 1995 but has been in the pet care business since the early '80s.
She has shown dogs in obedience, agility, and conformation. Michelle has been very successful and has put numerous titles on many dogs over the years. Pawsmere Pet Retreat is conveniently located in the little town of Montverde, Florida, in Lake County. Just down the street from Montverde Academy Preparatory School. Pawsmere is a short drive from Clermont or Winter Garden.

Pawsmere only takes a few dogs for boarding per day, so that we can offer exclusive, individualized, one-to-one care for your pampered pooches.
Excessive barking dogs can make our pet care environment unpleasant and stressful for our staff, the other dogs, and our kitty boarders.
Pawsmere offers specialized cat care and boarding.
We offer long and short term cat boarding, and we also provide cat pick-up and drop-off for long term boarding cats with seven or more days of boarding and within a 25-mile radius from our facility.

Requirements: Pawsmere Pet Retreat implements a strict Vaccination and Flea and Tick preventative protocol for any dog or cat that is visiting our facility or staying with us.

New Vaccinations: Must be administered at least seven days before pets visit to Pawsmere facility; this includes Pawsmere Dog Bathing & Grooming and or Pet Boarding.
Canine DHPP Combination Vaccine.
Rabies (one or three-year protocol).
Bordetella Vaccine (every six months).
