My name is Jean, and my husband Russ and I are Professional Pet Care Providers and pet owners just like you. We have been married over 25 years, and have been caring for pets for all of that time. Over the years we have cared for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles and other exotic pets. We know how difficult it can be to have to leave your pets in the care of others.
That's why we started Pet Joy - pet sitters. Pets have always been a major part of both of our lives and an integral part of our family. We have a deep love and passion for animals and their health and wellness. We care for ALL of our client's pets with the same responsibility, love and attention we give our own pets. We are insured and bonded so that your home is safe and secure and well cared for just like your pets.

This meeting allows us to learn about your pet and their environment.
During this session a pet profile is created from the necessary information gathered about your pets.
The profile includes pet names, eating habits, daily routines, and medication, veterinary and emergency contact information.
The information we gather is placed into your pet's file for future services.
We also can discuss special pet sitting needs or special requests to meet the needs of your pet.
Pet sitting cost is determined after meeting with you and your pets, and after we complete a consultation.

Before your stay we will arrange a Meet & Greet to make sure your dog(s) is a good fit for our home.
Indoors we have lots of soft dog beds and dog friendly furniture.
Your dog will feel right at home.
Outdoors we have 2 custom dog pens.
A large 2+ acre tall fenced in area with plenty of shade.
We also have a smaller side pen for quick pit stops.
We have lots of dog toys inside and out, and we always monitor dog play to assure everyone is safe and happy.
We try to create a sleeping arrangement for your dog(s) that is as close to what you have at home.

Our black lab, Foster stayed with Jean for 10 days and we are so pleased.
Jean has an ideal setting with so much outdoor space for Foster to roam.
I love that he slept in the bedroom, so he was right at home!
The pictures she sent were so reassuring.
Communication with Jean was easy with very prompt replies.
Foster has been finicky around other dogs and has never liked cats, but that was no problem in Jean's home.
I highly recommend her and we will surely use her again!

We have been sending our pup to Jean with Pet Joy Pet Sitters for several years whenever we travel. My pup is so excited when we arrive she can’t wait to see Jean. She is barking and wagging her tail and running to the door! And, when I pick my fluff ball up, she is happy and well taken care of. Our pup gets to socialize with other dogs her size, spend time outside and is in a home-like environment.
Jean meets the needs of our pup, is prompt with communication, reliable, flexible and so kind. Pet Joy Pet Sitters was recommended to me by another dog-mom and now I recommend her all the time to my friends with Dogs.
