Our apprentice program allows kids 9 and younger to work alongside our staff and assist with day-to-day operations, maintain a clean and safe environment, and enrich the lives of animals at Critters & Company Pet Center & Grooming. It's a great learning experience and helps introduce children to the joy and wonder of our animal companions. Providing a safe place for distressed animals in need is near and dear to our heart.
Many of the animals we have are rescued from unhealthy, or unsafe environments where they were not properly cared for. We give them love and shelter until the right person comes along who can welcome them into their home. Our adoption process includes a meet and greet, a reference check, completion of an adoption survey, and a home check to ensure the pet's needs are compatible with the new home and family.
Come in and see if one of our animal friends is just right for you! Whenever possible, we take some of your favorite animal friends to local schools. We love to help kids learn the ways and behavior of all sorts of animals.
