Co-founder, Carole Tomas, started working as a pet sitter in 1985 during summer vacations from her teaching position with Chesterfield County.
The company began with two pet care providers in the Bon Air and Midlothian areas and, three years later, Carole incorporated Pet Pleasers and resigned from teaching to devote her efforts to the business.
