It was very sudden and we are all in shock and absolutely heartbroken. Donna poured her heart and soul into making Digger Dogs the BEST grooming shop around and her family and staff have decided to continue her legacy by keeping the shop OPEN. The shop will be run exactly how Donna always has. We hope to see all of our dogs continue to visit us as you are all our family and we appreciate you.
Digger Dogs is a full service dog grooming shop that features the safest grooming equipment, an experienced staff, and a play-friendly environment. Here at Digger's we believe that the grooming experience should be a fun one. All the dogs get play time and as long as they behave they can stay out and play (or just chill out) for the duration of their time in our shop.
The exceptions, of course, being unneutered and aggressive dogs. While these dogs are certainly welcome in our shop, they remain separated from our other guests. We love to let our dogs run around, play, relax, and get to know us before their grooming.

Services
Digger Dogs Pet Grooming is a privately owned business that has been around for over 25 years.
The business is currently in its third and largest location as growth over the years has demanded expansion.
Owner Donna Worstall is not an invisible business woman, but rather the friendly face you'll see as you walk through our doors.
At Digger Dogs you'll meet the owner, the groomers and assistants as well as "Digger", the owner's dog.
We know it's important for you to see not only where your dog will be spending his/her time, but also with whom.

Donna started out as a men's barber but quickly turned to styling dogs' hair instead.
She started Digger Dogs back in 1990 on Basin Street in Bristol PA.
She was professionally trained in dog styles of the time and has been consistently keeping up with the newer trends as they evolve.
She has even been successful at creating new trends and styles that have become popular over the years.
Her love of the dogs is clear by the way she handles her shop more like a doggie day care than a typical grooming shop.

Our shop is in the second block, on the left hand side.
There is street parking right out front that costs just $0.25.
PLEASE FEED THE METER OR YOU WILL GET A TICKET.
Ticket prices are up to $15 now so if you use the meters before 4pm, remember to feed them!
Alternatively, there is a parking lot for all Mill Street Shoppers just a block away.
It's a very lovely lot with plenty of places to walk your dog, see the river, and enjoy nature.
Are you coming in from out of town?
Besides browsing and shopping on Mill Street, there is plenty for you to do while your pup is with us having fun.

A full grooming always includes a bath, drying, any brushing necessary, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, and of course whatever haircut or style has been requested.
So this will include any dog who may "just be getting trimmed up", because the work involved with prepping a long hair dog for his/her trim is indeed a full grooming.
Prices start at $50 -$55 for all dogs.
We do not base pricing on Breed alone.
Every client desires different styles and therefore our prices reflect only the amount of work involved.

Why is my dog there so long?
The average grooming time for most shops is about 4 hours.
Some shops work straight through each dog one at time, but usually a higher price is involved.
The majority of our clients like to take advantage of our long hours (dropping off before work and picking up when they come home) but we have plenty of clients who prefer their dog back as soon as possible.
What ever your schedule is, please just let us know ahead of time so we may accommodate.
