Boberosa Gun Dogs
Welcome to Boberosa Kennels, where your hunting companion becomes proud to be Boberosa trained. Upland and Waterfowl Gun Dog Training - Here at Boberosa Gun Dogs we specialize in training upland gun dogs for the hard-working hunter. We are hunters first and we understand the needs of a good quality hunting companion. With 45 years of combined professional training experience, we offer training packages for all breeds of gun dogs.

Over those years many flushers, pointers, and retrievers have been proud to be Boberosa Trained! Our specialty is in the individual attention each owner and hunting companion receives while they stay at the Boberosa. Each hunter has specific expectations of exactly what they want out of their hunting companion. After an initial evaluation we will sit down with a new client and hammer out exactly what they want from their hunting partner.

We then tailor a specific training regiment for that hunting companion, and the needs of their owner. There is no carbon copy training regiment here.
Services
The journey began in 1983 with our dad Bob Knipper when he acquired his first Springer Spaniel named Corky after his childhood years of training English Setters and Beagles.
Dad then started his first kennel Cedar Creek Kennels located in Leo, Indiana shortly after.
Corky was from the show end of the English Springer Spaniel but hunted everything from ducks, pheasant, grouse, quail, doves and geese.
Dad learned early the versatility of the Springer.
From the small Cedar Creek hobby kennel he raised several litters of puppies with Corky as the sire and placed several great hunting dogs in family homes.
Here at Boberosa Gun Dogs we feel that each dog has their own time schedule.
We strive to produce a complete hunting companion based around the dog's natural ability and our training practices.
Here at the Boberosa we allow dogs to naturally mature into their skill levels, and we will never push a dog faster than it is ready to learn just to produce results.
Our training methods are based on a strong foundation of obedience along with drills that bring out your dogs natural skill levels.
At the completion of training we strive to produce a confident, obedient, and complete hunting companion.
We offer 20 indoor/outdoor kennels.
The indoor kennels are fully isolated and feature radiant floor heating to keep your companion warm on cold winter days.
Air conditioning keeps your pet comfortable during the dog days of summer.
Dogs will also have plenty of exercise on the Boberosa's 50 acres of land.

Bob and Jared, I just wanted to take a few minutes out and thank you once again for the newest member of our family, Bonzai.
He has been a member of our family fourteen months now.
I hunt him at least once a week on pen-raised pheasants, wild grouse and woodcock.
He excels at all three.
He is dynamite in field, and turns it off in the house.
He is all you claimed him to be and more.
My whole family has hunted over him as well as many friends.
He is the talk of my gunclub as well.
Thick standing corn, briars, thickets, heavy cover, steep hills, nothing seems to phase him.
