It has been Hazel Richardson's life long dream to open a boarding kennel that provides quality accommodations, loving care and a safe environment.
I am proud to have provided superior quality kennel boarding to McKinney, Texas and surrounding areas since 1999.
Pet Paradise Resort is more than just a job to Hazel, it is a way of life and she loves it!
She lives on the property and even does a bed time check and potty break at 10:00 p.m. every night.
She purposely built the boarding kennel based on her needy (neurotic) weimaraner, Chester, who stressed so badly when boarded he lost weight and his voice!

Our doggie program is very structured similar to a child's day care with feed times, playtimes/snuggle times, snack times, and quiet times.
Our doggie suites are second to none!
We have 20 suites designed specifically to accommodate family members that enjoy the comforts of home.
We are not like a traditional kennel, each suite is constructed just like a regular room with solid walls and a glass storm door leading into each suite.
A doggie flap leads into an outside covered area so our guests can go in and out whenever they choose.
Our doggie suites are second to none!

The Medium Retreat is a social room adjacent to the main reception area, specifically designed for our medium doggie guests (approx 15lb - 45lbs).
This room contains 5 midi-suites, each guest is assigned a suite where they can keep their belongings (beds, toys etc. are welcome).
The only time they are actually secured inside their suite is meal-times and bed-time.
This is a fun social environment and is purposely designed for our guests to enjoy the company of others.
The Medium Retreat is unique because it is attached to its own play yard, with constant access thru a doggie flap, so these special guests can run, romp & play until their hearts are content and take a dip in the wading pool whenever they choose.

You are more than welcome to provide your own food however, we monitor our guests eating habits and if they don't eat within 2 days we will find food that they will eat!
