Services
I grew up in Norco, CA on a ranch with show horses and all sorts of pets and critters, and have lived and worked around the world.
During my time living in Austin, Texas, I was inspired to use my many years of animal care experience to deliver excellence in animal care and support to pets in need.
Austin is the perfect city for anyone who loves bats.
The Congress Avenue Bridge is a famous landmark and is home to the largest urban Mexican free-tailed bat colony in North America!
The choice of business name was also personal-I'm a professional writer, with an unhealthy obsession for Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Pets who are are under veterinary care, acutely ill, or require specialized attention are all considered special needs.
These pets include those that have developed medical issues such as diabetes, epilepsy, thyroid conditions, or urinary issues/chronic kidney disease, as well as those recovering from surgery.
Senior pets can be challenged by: mental impairment ("doggy dementia"), blindness, or hearing difficulties.
They may be living with arthritis, hip dysplasia, or incontinence, and need a little extra patience and tender loving care.
When you can't be there to cuddle up with your critters overnight, hire someone who will be happy to love on them as much as you do!
Pet/animal feeding and care from a sitter certified in Pet First Aid, CPR & Disaster Preparedness.
Pet "Housekeeping" - Cleaning up basic indoor, pet-created messiness while you're away to keep your home nice and tidy for your return.
Final pricing for all live-in services is customized to each client's individual needs, which can include livestock care, exotic pets, bird care, multiple pets, medical care and support, hand-feeding animals, etc.
Older pets or special needs animals who need a helping hand, extra cuddles and comfort, or medical care.
Exotic pets, reptiles or birds who need custom diet preparation, extra attention, or who are on specific feed/sleep/wake cycles.
Any other situation in which you would like to have extra care and constant personal attention given to your pets and home.
When you can't be there to cuddle up with your critters, hire someone who will be happy to love on them as much as you do! Learn more about why in-home pet sitting is superior to boarding pets.
Your everyday cat and dog sitter often doesn't have the intensive and proven experience needed to work with small to large ranch critters such as horses, goats, sheep, pigs or other outdoor animals.
These animals need exercise, grooming and hoof care, preparation and feeding of complex diets, and live in corrals that often feature electric fencing and automatic waterers.
Nor do inexperienced, small animal sitters know what subtle to apparent signs of distress or injury look like in ranch animals and livestock or understand when a home remedy might be appropriate or when it's time to call in your trusted veterinarian.
