Hamsters to Horses Pet Care is a pet sitting service that comes to your home to care for your pets when you can not. Your pets benefit because they can stay in their own safe, secure and familiar surroundings following their same diet and routine. Over time your pets form a relationship with their pet sitter, which further reassures them. You benefit by having happy friends, family and neighbors who are not burdened with caring for your pets.

In 2008, I certified in pet first aid and CPR through Pet Tech and received their Pet Saver certificate.
In 2011, I certified in pet first aid and CPR through Red Cross.
Currently, I have horses, cats.
A couple of the cats are deaf so I've had to learn non-verbal communication.
My family lived next to a large dairy farm in Northville and I helped with their chores for fun.
I was a 4-H member and later became a 4-H group leader for kids interested in horses.
I worked at a Thoroughbred horse farm, Red-Bob Farm in Oxford, Michigan, as an exercise rider teaching 2 year-old horses to race.

Holiday visits are billed an additional $10.00 per visit.
Because more time is required to visit pets who live further than 10 miles from my home, those visits include a round-trip charge of $.50 per mile for each mile over 10 miles.
Example: You live 14 miles from my home.
The extra 8 round-trip miles will incur a charge of $.50 a mile for an additional charge of $4.00 per visit.
We are located between M- 52 and Clear Lake Road.
We use internet maps to determine mileage.
When we first come to your home to meet you and your pets, the mileage is double-checked and we will inform you of the exact charge.
