Welcome to Country Pet Hideaway, we are a full service boarding and grooming kennel located in Reinholds, Pa. We offer a clean and relaxing atmosphere on our 16 acre property. Our kennels are equipped with ADT for smoke detection and temperature monitoring. We also installed a computer controlled automatic generator back up system in case of power outages.
All of our buildings have heat and air conditioning which keeps your pets healthy and happy. Radio is played 24 hours a day for both cats and dogs. All of our visitors are allowed in the play yards several times a day for exercise and to meet their new friends. Country Pet Hideaway is the first in the area to also build condominium suites for a more private boarding experience.
The condominium's come furnished and have televisions in each room. We have also installed a heated exercise swimming pool just for fun or for rehab purposes. We always recommend a tour to see where your pet will be staying while your away no matter what kennel you decide to stay at.

Services
Randy and Mindy have been training labrador retrievers for 25 years for obedience, hunting and retrieving competitions (field trials).
Our first dog (Magic) has a companion dog (CD) title in the obedience ring.
She won 2 qualifying stakes in field competition and also won the King Buck Ducks Unlimited Amateur Stakes in 1997.
April, our second retriever obtained a CD and a Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title from the AKC.
She has all the placements in the Qualifying Stakes in retriever competition and also received a reserve jam in an amateur stake.

My name is Melissa Strause, I've been a dog groomer for 17 years.
I got my start in the grooming profession by grooming my own rescue dog and also helping at shelters in Maryland.
From the moment I started working with animals I knew I was on the right career path, I pride myself in my general pet knowledge and knowledge of dog breeds.
During my career I have apprenticed with hands on training under 3 seasoned groomers in the DC metro area.
I do my best to keep on the cutting edge of grooming trends by attending grooming conventions for continuing education.
