We have no children and decided, what seems like long ago, to share the love we have for our pets with other families.
Our philosophy has always been to provide a service that feels like home for your pet, allowing you to leave them in our care, guilt-free.
Paws and Claws is licensed with the State of Maine, a member of the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce and a selected business with the Better Business Bureau of New England.

No pick ups available after 6pm.
Should your Dog need to spend the night unexpectedly, please feel welcome.
If you pick up the next morning between 8am-9am, your charge will be an additional $10 only for the overnight.
Otherwise you can pick up between 3-6pm and will pay the normal daycare rate.
A time for your Pup to socialise and be managed to properly interact between peers of various ages, potty training, learning the basic 10 Commandments, Nap Time/Snack Time for puppies under 6 months of age, and the greatest Benefit, using up all that puppy enthusiasm for life guaranteeing dream filled nights for You!

We offer a private room with a view for your cat or cats.
Your feline can settle in on a big bed, old fashion pull out drawers build in the wall make cozy hideaways, large windows with daylight for basking in the sun and gazing at the bird feeders below, and scratching posts/toys to entertain.
The owner is responsible for the Food.
